Cold Snap

It's the middle of February and while I love winter, I don't always enjoy the long stretches of bitter cold that are typical at this time of year. Luckily, I think we're at the tail end of it. I don't mind being out in the cold, but I worry about our various animals staying warm enough. I constantly reminding myself they have fur coats and downy feathers. They probably handle this weather better than terribly hot summer days. I keep telling myself "they're not small fluffy humans" "they are NOT small fluffy hooomans".

2019 Update: We insulated the barn this year. ha ha ha ha ha ha
